Our Story

We Californians have been dealing with wildfires every year and one day my dog was wheezing hard unable to breathe on our walk.
In September of 2020, wildfires hit hard all over California, both Northern and Southern, and spread to nearby states lasting several weeks.  Sky was orange in parts of California or dark grey during the day.
It was especially hard because we were already in lockdown due to Covid-19 and if it spread further we had to evacuate. Before this was the Malibu Woolsey Fire, and every year seemed to be getting worse.
Daily walks with our pooches had been the life saver during this time of pandemic and we were limited when air quality rose to dangerous levels. My dog was wheezing hard unable to breathe during our 10-minute walk for a quick potty and we found black ash from his nose though the fire was far from us.
It was truly scary.
K9 masks we found online were priced 10 times of human masks and not user-friendly.
We drove 45 miles away just for our daily walks and realized an immediate need for disposable, flexible, and cost-friendly masks for animals for everyday use just like ones we humans use.
We hope our patent-pending masks work for Arthur and his friends, and in the future for other wild animals as well.
